Since April 1st, 9 meteorological monitoring standards for lightning protection have been formally implemented.

The reporter learned from the China Meteorological Administration's press conference in April 2018 that from April 1st, 9 lightning protection supervision standards were officially implemented.

In order to implement the reform of the State Council's administrative approval system and “the State Council's decision on optimizing the lightning protection permit for construction projects”, and further transform the supervision methods of lightning protection and disaster reduction work, and effectively strengthen the post-event supervision, the China Meteorological Administration has opened the fast track for urgent-need standard revision. Then the 9 meteorological industry standards related to lightning protection supervision were officially implemented on April 1, 2018.
