Design 

1. We adopt a single beam and single channel control mode which is the most simple infrared remote control mode. The executing device can be a relay or a silicon controlled device to control on-off. 

2. Circuit diagram and function: infrared transmitting circuit and infrared receiving and controlling circuit compose infrared optical switching circuit. The core of infrared transmitting circuit is a time-based integrated circuit 555. The infrared receiving and controlling circuits include infrared electric converter, Schmidt trigger, bistable flip-flop and SCR trigger circuit.
